OMG, I can't believe I actually watched Artem Grigoryev, I didn't know who I was watching, lol. Seriously, I knew I loved his music & style, but my screen kept funking out, so I didn't know who or what I was watching.
Gorshkov looks to have had a good skate? My 'puter only spazzed out a few times, lol.
Anyhow, I note that Alexei Urmanov has quite a few students competing, including Gorshkov. Hmmm. Btw, he's forgiven a bit for his vulgar remarks about Rachael b/c he praised Evgeni to the skies the other day.
Good skate by Stanislav (btw he could be Rachael Flatt's brother that's how much they look alike). But this "Man in the Iron Mask" music always brings to mind A&P and their exceptional program to this, especially the ending where Marina lays back and supports Gwendal while he shows off his superb flexibility and long lines.
Wow, Gordey Gorshkov has an exceptionally beautiful camel spin position (both front and back camels) ...the extension!!!...Urmanov seems to be a good spin coach and has imparted his elegance to his students' spins, quite notable in today's skating where most skaters are focused on getting L4s without regard for the actual aesthetic quality of the spin...Polina Agafonova also has a beautiful camel position...and her lay-back/side spin is quite like the one Urmanov used to do...
