The Q&A is done by Jimmy Morgan, who is a pairs skater in Boston (he will be competing at Nationals at the senior level with partner Alex Shaughnessy) and a public relations major at Boston University. Jimmy is also the guy behind the @BOS2014, the Twitter account for U.S. Nationals.

It's a great interview with Maia and Alex and how they became interested in social media and Jimmy provides some very useful takeaways for those who use social media professionally. (Jimmy's website is actually quite impressive in that regard. Lots of useful tips!)

very interesting interview, I love their involvement in social media, because of them we can to know more about them and other figure skaters. And they are very funny and talented people .

http://maiaandalex.com/2006-us-nationals-st-louis/ wow, here you can say Alex and Maia, but mainly Alex is very passionated about figure skating, a real fan, not just competitor

Shibs quote: "We believe that as athletes, it is not just about presenting ourselves, but that there is a duty to know that you are a representative for your sport and your country. Advice: Have respect for the opportunity to have a “voice” and use common sense" cough Gracie G. cough ;)

I would very surprised if ANY of the top US Skaters are taking the day off from training, what with Nationals only a few weeks away. If anything, it probably means a lighter overall schedule with no classes (for those in school like the Shibs) helping to make the training day less hectic overall. Elite figure skating is a sport whose timing pays little regard for the "holiday" part of the holiday season.
