Cuuuuute! Their recent photoshoots remind me of...engagement photos...
They are most likely not engagement pictures, but they are just too cute, you know?
There are more beautiful photos of Tanya and Maxim http://instagram.com/p/udVGyGSRvi/ Tanya looks absolutely gorgeous.
Does anyone know where I would be able to find a live steam of Skate America for both Saturday and Sunday? Despite V&T's absence, I'm still interested in seeing what the other pairs are up to.
I love her hair! She looks so pretty.
Maxim needs a haircut though.

icenetwork.com will be airing the show but not for free. I'll be taking pics and if get any good ones I'll post them somewhere public. I leave tomorrow am Still bummed VT won't be there but it will be interesting to check out a lot of the new talent.
a short interview with Tanya and Maxim http://vesti-sochi.tv/sport/28325-k...iju-v-sochi-vhod-v-lajsbergr-budet-besplatnym They are going to take part in Cup of Russia in Sochi tomorrow. Maxim says, they are planning to spend whole month in December to prepare for the competitions Europe and World championships, Tanya has added, they are getting and optimal form and hope to be 100% ready for the competitions.
I'm back from Skate America. It was SO MUCH FUN! I kept thinking how bummed I was that Max and Tanya weren't there but tried to get it out of my mind and focus on the talent that was there. I was totally over it when I met and hung out with Jeremy Abbott in the hotel bar after his final skate. He was so gracious and just nice to talk to to. Several other coaches (Kori Ade and John Zimmerman) and Choreographers were around and really friendly.
The Russians were most impressive overall. Smirnov and Kavaguti did not skate last year due to injury but after seeing them this weekend I was really impressed. He's tall and strong like Max and she's quite small. Now I'm really interested in seeing what Ksenia and Fedor have come up with to see how it compares, hopefully at the GP Final. The addition of lyrics to the music is also something I'm interested to see. Especially how Max and Tanya, if they choose lyrics, relate to them.
I was also really impressed with the new Russian Ice Dancers (Ivan Bukin and Alexandra Stepanova). The Rostelecom cup is going to be exciting to see the pair who won Bronze at SA and Nikita and Elena's new pairings. For some reason Ivan's personality on the ice really reminded me of Max. I went up to him at the hotel after to try to get a picture and he walked off. I think he didn't see me approaching. Either way the Russian team went out for dinner separately and didn't hang around the hotel bar with the US and Canadian skaters. I imagine it was for the best since if I did get to meet them I would be a total blubbering idiot. I'm counting down the days to hopefully seeing Max and Tanya healthy and skating at the European Championships.
One other thing to note, Germany has lost a key coach with Robins retirement and Aliona teaming with Massot. Ingo Steuer was at SA coaching Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier. I knew I recognized Ingo when I saw him around the hotel. Haven and Brandon looked really good. We'll see if they qualify for the Final. I'm excited to see this new talent to encourage Max and Tanya once he's healthy. I know they won't push it too soon. Lifts and Tanya's safety are too critical.
