No wonder their story seems a bit fragmented. I wonder why they chose to have Klimov play more than one role?

In the musical, one of the songs they used is sung by Frollo, one is sung by Esmeralda to Phoebus, and the third is sung by Quasimodo, so I guess they decided to take a literal approach and have him portray those male characters. Not sure it works totally, but it is interesting.
