Denis struck me as very mature from even several years ago. His skating reflects his mature artistry, sophisticated and classy. Yagudin has a few years on him and evidently has very useful things to teach a good student. :agree:
ISU profile update:
Denis is now co-coached by Frank and Morozov.
Morozov is also his choreographer. Morozov's team is now based in Novogorsk so Denis has spent/will spend part of the season training there.

any idea why Denis keeps withdrawing? He's one of my favorites and I'm really hopeing nothing is seriously wrong.
Yes, probably you are right - unfortunately. His peak might have been so much more if not for his frequent and chronic injuries which are always hampering him. It's such a pity as he is so talented - great musicality, wonderful skating skills with a potential to improve even more, really good jumps when on etc..I hate to say this because Den Ten had been one of my favorite skaters but seeing how he perform badly last season make me think if he has already reach his peak?
In the FSUniverse, a user has translates the article.
He talks about the past season, injury,Hanyu, music and more.
