Denis struck me as very mature from even several years ago. His skating reflects his mature artistry, sophisticated and classy. Yagudin has a few years on him and evidently has very useful things to teach a good student. :agree:

Yes, probably you are right - unfortunately. His peak might have been so much more if not for his frequent and chronic injuries which are always hampering him. It's such a pity as he is so talented - great musicality, wonderful skating skills with a potential to improve even more, really good jumps when on etc..

I don't like his morozov programs(which, i mean, were expected, it's morozombie we're talking about), but really happy that he skated this clean this early in the season! That I'll happily take. Hope this gives him more confidence and skate even better later in the season. And his spins are gorgeous as usual.

But I can't say that I am not a bit disappointed with him when he says that hanyu try to distract him :disagree: ahm why??? he is Yuzuru Hanyu already and I think he is too focus on his practice to try to play games with others. and come on it happens in March and he is still talking about it in June?

I'm so happy for a good 2 skates form Denis! I kind of felt everyone's has already written him off. I think coming back from injury, he needed some simpler choreography, so he could nail jumps. Maybe it wil be changed a little later in season. Congrats on silver, Denis!
