If anyone cares, an FYI that Weir/Lipinski seemingly are not involved in NBC's Cup of China broadcast. Only Gannon and Wilson. Noon ET on Sunday (as always: schedule subject to change; check your local listings).

IIRC, pretty sure that the same thing happened last year with NBC's Cup of China coverage.

samkrut's post has the link for the Ladies SP. Короткая программа = SP.
KIG's post has the link to the Ladies FS. Произвольная программа = LP.

gotoschool, don't know what you were seeing earlier at those links, but when I just clicked on them, they were correct.

Thanks for letting me know. I originally read that sportsbox wasn't covering both and it just stuck in my mind so I thought one of them must be wrong.

CoC isn't showing up on my local TV listings (as of this evening) for NBC during that timeslot. Instead, they are showing several 30-minute infomercials back-to-back. :sad4:

Is this happening for anyone else? I've never had a problem receiving figure skating before, so I find it difficult to believe they would choose infomercials instead.

The listings still show CoC on CBC that same day, as well as TEB coverage on NBC next weekend...

Thoughts:

(1) Over the past few years, I recall various comments/gripes -- on social media, on FSU, and maybe here on GS -- from people saying that NBC GP coverage did not include Cup of China in such-and-such year.
But since 2010, I don't remember the NBC network ever missing a year of Cup of China. So I always have suspected that the problem for those people was not that the NBC network did not cover Cup of China, but instead that the local NBC stations in certain markets did not air the NBC network coverage.
So .... this year, your market is one of those markets, it would seem?

(2) FWIW, the local NBC station in NYC is scheduled to carry the Cup of China broadcast (12 noon to 1:30 pm):

(3) That "crybaby" emoticon is the cutest thing ever .

Anyone know if there would be a live stream available for replay after the fact?

I'm in EST Canada and can't stay awake for any of the short programs... Is there anyway I can catch up and watch every skater before the free programs?

Mao is usually very very good at posting the youtube links mere nanoseconds after they apparently become available and I for one am grateful. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but Mao is super efficient at posting the links asap. Blessings be!

The ISU channel has all events as a catch up, but there is a catch, or actually two.

1. It won´t be available in NA
2. The quality is not the best (only 360p)

FYI: I test these streams using Firefox browser with ad-blocking addons(eg adblock plus, ublock origin, etc). So I do not see most of the pop up adverts that obscure the video. Apologies to the GS members who utilisied the links and were unprepared for the adverts.

I do remember last season's NBC coverage of Cup of China being substandard (no J&T, shorter timeslot), but to choose infomercials over content that NBC already produced for other affiliates? And in the Detroit market, of all places... one of the few meccas for figure skating in the USA?? I mean, I can still receive CBC coverage on Saturday (which I prefer), but it's sad I have to rely on Canadian TV to see a CoC broadcast.

I'm still hoping my listings are inaccurate or haven't been properly updated, and CoC will still air on Sunday here...

Here's hoping the ISU channel will be there for everything... I had assumed that was "normal" after SA and SC...
I don't know about you, but at least I didn't get the ISU channel for COC :angry1:
but according to my TV program preview thingy, it will be available for TEB again :clapper:

Well, I got one or the other at all times, but never both at the same time...
Ad breaks instead of 6 min warmups was annoying, but apart from that I can't complain.

Great if the ISU channel is back for the whole of TEB... but that's no use to me because I'll be at TEB in person...! :-D :-D

I checked the program for Eurosport 2, and they won't cover the whole event live next week (FS men and pairs won't be live). I guess they didn't offer the stream this week because the whole event was live on the TV channel anyway  I'm not sure how they think

sabinfire, might you have access to the NBC broadcast via http://www.nbcsports.com/live-extra?

As discussed at the bottom this page:

A password from a cable or satellite provider is needed (similar to what was needed for online access to NBC Olympics coverage, AFAIK).
I don't have such access, but maybe you do??

(Those crying babyfaces are tugging at my heartstrings :sad4:.)
