I hope Kazuki Tomono was sent to work with his choreographer on those level 2 step sequences.

And I hope she scolded him real good~

I sure hope so, lol! He’s trusted to be sent at Worlds after Mura gave up his spot, it’s the moment to show what he’s capable of. :)

Solid from Majorov. Mistake on the second jump of the combo, but enough to get the lead for now.
Score: 81.69, into 1st

One of my personal fav, Sondre Oddvoll BOE. I first saw him in JGP St Gervais last year, and I thought he was sublime (I got him a gift and even got a picture with him ).
Too bad for the popped jumps, but I still enjoy watching him.

Edit: OMG THEY BROKE THE KISS&CRY BENCH???!! At least they took it well, laughing and bowing to the cheering crowd.

Wow Kazuki, that 4S attempt was HUGE! Too bad it didn’t work, but it was worth trying. Not clean, but it was very enjoyable!
Score: 74.44 (heard right?) currently 2nd.

Japanese Men are 3-4-5 going into the free. Everything can happen then for the final results.
I’m very proud of Sota. Clean SP and currently in 5th place, this is better than I could have hoped for.

Edit: he’s 6th, I forgot a skater, my bad!

Sota is 5th? Is that for real? I couldn't hear the scores properly, but I thought Ponsart and Slavik were before him? I thought Sota was 6th, but I definitely wouldn't complain to learn I misheard. :]

Oops! You’re right, I forgot about Ponsart  My bad, Sota is 6th. Still in the final group and he might move up ranks, we’ll see. ;)

Romain is getting better. He has been unreliable for so long, good to see he’s finally making progress. Let’s see if he holds on for the free.
Score: 73.44 (heard right?) into 1st.
He was quite good today! I love his speed and fluidity. Hope he goes clean at World's. [emoji7]

Protocols from last night are up now. I do wish they'd been able to hire a data entry person to get it done more quickly!

But fortunately, due to today's events starting early, I should be able to drop in on the livestream just long enough tonight to watch Laurine's LP before I have to go to bed (it's a work day tomorrow). See you all at 10:50pm!

Does anyone have a link for the replay stream? For some reason, the one linked in this thread is stuck after Mai's SP where I left yesterday. Am I the only one with this issue, should I clear the cookies or something?

First group is done! Aw, Polina Ustinova was so happy with her skate. Good for her. And I liked Alina Mayer-Virtanen's dress with the gold lace, it looked very elegant and different.
