SailorGalazie - You made excellent choices. However, except for Tanith and Ben, I think the other would be golds are very vulnerable.

Yeah. For instance womens is probably a toss-up. Nationals has always seemed to be Michelle's event though so I would go with the same thing. I was thinking that it might be Jenny Kirk for the bronze though.

Tanith and Ben are a FOR-SURE i would say. They are the most promise the US has had in dance in a while.

For men I think Ryan Jahnke will definitely be in there somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if he was second to Weir and either Weiss or Geobel didn't make the podium at all.

I don't think I am informed enough on US pairs to comment on that.

I think it's interesting that no one has listed Scott & Dulebohn as even making the podium despite the fact that they are former National champions!

Have they competed in the GP this year? If they have, they apparently haven't done well because they haven't even been shown at all. We're not getting a lot of coverage so that doesn't say much but it would still tell us a little.

i refuse to do predictions.

Predictions are fun, and we all can figure out why/why not things came about in retrospect. Hindsight is 20 - 20 :p

Dance: Belbin/Agosto, Gregory/Petukov (great chance for the US to earn 3 teams for the Olympics!)

Pairs: Inoue/Baldwin, Scott/Dulebohn <**last chance**> (one team will be 5 - 8, one team will be 9 - 12 and the US will earn 2 spots for the Olympics)

Men: Weir, Goebel and Weiss (the battle of the triple axel is for third place and whomever does them better between Weiss and Jahnke will get the 3rd spot and the US will earn 3 spots for the Olympics)

Ladies: Kwan, Cohen (will place 3rd at US Nationals), and Amber Corwin (the US will earn 3 spots for the Olympics from Kwan and Cohen, so the 3rd spot is up for grabs for who skates the best that night, and that person will place second above Sasha who will have an error or two in her programs)
