Pairs short will start 5:30 EST, not 6:30 EST, 13 hours difference.

Six pairs in total.

Group 1 warm up. Skaters from UZB and North Korea & Pang & Tong.

One pair from UZB. throw 2A, clean program. Slow & simple program.

North korea pair.Nice costume. Nice throw, clean program.

Pang & Tong, very clean program, good for them, pang landed 3toe. Their conditioning seems okay. 65.65 points. Interview with them, they are not very satisfied with both their performance and score.

Shen & Zhao, 69 points. a bit out of unison in sbs spin.

Li/Xu, another clean program, 54.99 points, personal best, much better than their two GP events.

North korean pair, fell on 2A, okay program, 41 points.

Overall, the quality of this competition is quite good, only one fall!!

ladies free skate protocols

Nakano's 3f+2t was downgraded to 2f+2t, otherwise it's clean. She landed 4 triples, two double axels.

Binshu xu edged out Fumie in the free skate, she landed 7 triples, the only jump mistake was a stepout of her second lutz. She has the most difficult program including two triple lutz, one triple flip, a triple toe+triple toe SEQ.

Fumie singled her second lutz, doubled the first 3f of her 3f+2t combo. She landed 4 triples including a 3s+2t which has been AWOL for a long time.
