I just realised that I should probably give a definition of the levels:

Bulgarian Terminology​	International Terminology​
Klas I​	Senior​
Klas II​	Junior​
Klas III​	Advanced Novice​
Klas IV​	Intermediate Novice​
Klas V​	Basic Novice​
Klas VI​	Cubs​
Klas VII​	Chicks​

So, if we use international events as an analogy, the ISU competitions are on Thursday and Friday, while the Interclub competitions are on Saturday and Sunday.

I am hoping the same.

The Ice Peak Trophy which was held at the same rink two weeks ago was streamed on the Fed's YouTube channel:

So, I am taking that as a good sign that Nationals will be on there too.

However, the Denkova-Staviski Cup, which is also held at the same rink and used to be streamed on that channel as well, has had pay streams on SolidSport for the past couple of years. Admittedly, if Nationals were going to be on SolidSport, you would expect the streams to be up already. So I am hoping that that means they won't. But you never know. The organisers may just be being slow.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see where the streams appear. The competitions start in 10 hours from now with the Advanced Novices.

Just to let you know, there is a guest skater competing at Advanced Novice level, Eleanor PATTEN (GBR). Yes, as you have no doubt worked out, this is Leilah's sister.

Eleanor (whose name has gone through a double transliteration to become "Elinor" on the Entries / Results page) will be kicking off proceedings today, as the first skater in Group 1 of the Klas III (Advanced Novice) Ladies SP.

The result is that I have had to re-do the table, because the addresses of the segment pages have changed as a result of the extra Advanced Novice competition being slotted in next to the existing one.

I take it that the fact that there were no extra Junior or Senior competitions slotted in at the same time means that Varvara ABRAMKINA (CYP) and Marilena KITROMILIS (CYP) are not competing this year.

It's a pity, as I was hoping they would be there. Particularly Varvara, as I am getting concerned by the fact that she has not competed yet this season.

Good. I was worried that they might go down the pay route.

I had been hoping to join in watching LIVE later. But I don't think I'll be able to because Firefox crashed while I was in the middle of doing the research for my Japanese Championships predictions this morning. And so I have to start all over again from scratch.

Well, it turns out that Varvara is competing. But not as a guest skater. She is in the full competition.

Not only that, but she is leading Junior Ladies by 8.36 points after the SP!



I guess this explains why she hasn't been in action so far this season. It looks like she is switching countries.

This is really messing with my head. I have two kids in the Top 5 in Junior Ladies, and I am so conflicted about it. As far as my mind in concerned, neither of them should even be in the competition. Varvara should be competing as a guest skater, and Chiara should be competing in Seniors.

Oh well, I guess I should just be happy that they are both doing so well.
