Really hope that M/R have a good skate. It will be interesting to see if B/L have got over her recent injury problems. Other than I guess it is V/T to lose, with a good skate D/C can nail their GP final spot.

Don't like any of these music choices of the pairs so far. Ugh. Russians didn't look like they wanted to be out there, Italians looked nice and athletic and confident, but not able to get the TES or PCS points yet, Americans not only inconsistent, but boring. Let's hope next group is better; so far this pairs competition is a bit flat.

Yeah D/C aren't my cup of tea but they are strong and have mostly decent tricks. And land their SBS jumps. Canadians are pretty but fall on a jump (her) and crashy twist (scary in fact) won't get you places.

Never been a B/L fan, and Bazarova looks so frail, but this program is really nice for them.

On a different note, is anybody getting tired of the mirror skating requirement in the pairs' SP's? Wish ISU would ditch this--I don't see what it's supposed to prove.

V/T's technical skills are undeniable and the class of this field, but the burlesque Godfather number is noxious. Why do the Russians always have such horrible taste every time they deviate from the classical???

And that mustache is definitely way too Hitler. Not a good look for Trankov or anybody.

Call it a blasphemy but I actually prefered the SP of Bazarova & Larionov over Volosozhar & Trankov in terms of general presentation.
