Unfortunately, not the first time it has happened this season. And Canadian flights have historically been troublesome for skaters - Ask Miura/Kihara or Keegan Messing, they could tell you some stories

You're a lucky cat owner! My cat doesn't normally sit on my lap; she usually sits beside me. I was surprised when she actually sat on my hip yesterday!

Yeah, Finland has not been kind to skaters either, there was a whole contingent of baby Finns and Estonians, who didn't receive their skates in time for one of the JGPs
