After all the brouhaha with men, it will be a RELIEF to watch the one discipline where COP has actually worked like gangbusters. Dance.



It is a strange, strange, strange world sometimes!

COP doesn't work for dance. It's all about reputation. Dancers do not fall, therefore less outcry. However, people even fans do not watch dance, do not believe its an actually contest.

The judging panel looks like a dream----for the Russian dancers:

RUS, LTU, UKR, UZB, AZE, SVK, HUN, GER, FRA

Looks as if Bobrova/Soloviev will win their first World medal.

But there is also one French and one German judge... But 5 judges from East Europe! :disapp: But I still hope this won't affect the result (I know this is an impossible dream, though )

Where do you get this information about countries? ISU page just showing names.

Every season, the ISU issues a communication listing all the judges for all the countries. I put them in a spreadsheet by name, then country for easy lookup.

you have an old mentality of what is eastern europe I can only see 2 eastern europe here

Yes, of course. NOt hopeful though. Maybe they will just show the last two groups. Even Pocc 2 is showing soccer now.
