Disaster for Kovtun. Could he not have put the combination on to the triple lutz from steps? Top 10 is a big ask now.

Was that actually a 3T1T? 65.85, looks he will be skating in the first group for the free

I think that combo was a 3T-1T, not a quad.

Still, the talent is there, but sooo much pressure for a young guy.

Kovtun certainly doesn't deserve an Olympic spot. Menshov has been shown the door and Gachinski is a mess. So they don't, really.
