On Pogorilaya and Firebird I'd just like to ask why Firebird is so popular? I like it more than Rite of Spring but Petrushka is so much more fun.

I think her edge quality is very good. Maybe the knee action is not so fluid, but I enjoyed her step sequence.

Quite a reasonable skate by Hongo, and I think she put more oomph into that performance than earlier in the season. At least she demonstrated that she belongs here, and the crowd really seemed appreciative.

I agree. She said in an interview that she realized she needed to work on the performance aspect in order to compete with the seniors.

Is Anna okay? Looks hurt or sick after...
