Oh, hang on. Xuanqi just had exactly the same fall as Ava.
I loved the music that ZHANG Xuanqi / FENG Wenqiang (CHN) were skating to. It's "Notre Dame De Paris", but not the usual edit. Apart from the obligatory "Le Temps Des Cathedrales" at the end, it was all different pieces to what we usually hear.
I also love Xuanqi's gold dress (has her mistake cost them a matching medal?), but it makes Wenqiang's white shirt and black trousers look generic in comparison.
I enjoyed that.
The partnerships in this group were all very close after the SP. And this is going to be close too.
It is! Just 0.23 points ahead in the FS!
They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Have GUO Rui / ZHANG Yiwen (CHN) borrowed Jazmine DESROCHERS / Kieran THRASHER (CAN)'s costumes. From a distance they look so similar! Closer up, they don't!

Well, they have two more mandatory Junior seasons, so plenty of time to improve - For both teams.

The Chinese pairs had superior technical elements, but not the same connection, musicality, or presentation of the Canadian pairs. Today the tricks were simply better. The quadruple twist from Guo/Zhang is so good it's almost ridiculous how easy it looks.

I noticed that too. Clearly one of "height" and "elevation" should have been "distance".

"Height and flight" is a term often used by gymnastics commentators.
