I feel like some of Elena's jumps are very heavy. She is landing them well though.

Unlike Anna I like Elena MORE every time I see her. She is such a beautiful musical skater AND most of all you can tell she really loves skating and being out there. So happy for her.

At the end of the skate I was wondering what was wrong with Anna. She looked like she was in physical pain.

Radionova was great. It was a bit paint by numbers, but good. The biggest thing about her for me is that someone needs to tell her that she has to stretch her neck and not hunch her shoulders. She was almost as bad as Tim Goebel.

I agree, I think she's landing them on determination, they look so hard on her small body

Excellent, looked clean to me. I can never unsee what AYDIT said about her and the jumps weren't so big today (?) but at least I have hope to get a 1st place prediction right now

Yeah, she looks really bad. I know she's still a teenager & it's understandable for her to be upset, but I'm concerned with how hard she's taking this. Her skate wasn't a masterpiece. She's still a great skater though. I feel bad for her right now

Yeah I mean that's the thing... I know she is a teen and I've also tried to consider the enormous pressure she's under being from Russia where things are SO deep, but the simple fact is that other figure skaters DO NOT act like this. It is NOT normal to cry after EVERY program you skate that is not 100% clean. it is NOT normal to look dazed and like you want to give up after you fall on one jump. It just is not normal.

I know I've basically been ranting about her, but in all absolute seriousness I do hope she is okay, and I hope that if she does need help of any kind, she is getting it, and that the people in her life are supportive.

Not sure about Elena's new dress...too much flesh-colored part I think. Thought she was kind of sluggish to start out but picked up towards the second half.

I feel like that performance was a little flat and paint by the numbers expression-wise, but her tech was good enough.
