2014 Lombardia Trophy

Don't think so. He's always been a major headcase. It's unfortunate because he's really great when he can keep it all together. I hoped this season would be different...well, it's still early.
:scowl: but well... when he is on his level is much higher than this. :frown:

I'm guessing one of the 3S is a failed attempt at something else too. He actually looked displeased with his performance and didn't even wait for his scores at the K&C (or at least he wasn't in the camera when his scores were announced).

Probably a 4S, he used to have a good one back in the day.
Is anyone else disappointed by the fact that Amodio continues to do Morozov-like programs even after he's split with Morozov?

Florent's PCS being higher than Michael's is to be expected I guess; Michael is still very flaily, unpolished on ice, compared to Florent's years of experience that he showed on ice a while ago.
I found the young kid much more interesting today. Florent was a little dated. The work he would need to do to really be among one of the best today will be very hard. I wish he would have found himself a decent coach years ago. Was his best work really with Morozov?? This cannot be for Florent, he needs to turns things around. Best wishes to his team.

Isn't this the early part of the season when skaters are still sort of testing out programs for judges feedback ... or have I become old school :laugh:?
Yeah, it's still early so the programs might change.

I didn't expect them to have the same PCS, really :). Florent has great SS and the ability to sell even the emptiest programs, but Martinez is not that bad himself and he connected well to his music here - and he had more of a coherent program than Florent had. I wouldn't have had them almost 10 points apart in PCS, but I'll admit that's just spur-of-the-moment thinking. Maybe when I rewatch later I'll think differently.

I do prefer Michael's skate over Florent but we really do have to give it to Flo because he showed up with a "cleaner" program (despite the triple 3Ses lol) which inevitably jacked his PCS up.

I think Flo's program was 'innovative', different while Michael's same old POTO they've heard so many times (and will hear again since Takahito will skate to POTO tonight too lol), IDK. We all know these judges have their own way of thinking that us spectators will never fully understand. ^^;;

Not a lot of expression, but technically strong. Did he change his program - he showed Exogenesis at the test skates?

Moris Kvitelashivili: After Dark - that is one song I wasn't expecting to hear in a skating program :laugh: :thumbsup:
(even though it doesn't have any connection to the rest of the program)

this music is like a greatest elevator muzak medley or something... the weird transitions in and out of lyrics... idek

Adian is shy, he's aware of the issue with his expression. He's only 16, there's lots of time to improve that part.
