Elene is looking better than the previous seasons though. For a while it looked like she had weight problems. She's looking very healthy and fit!

The worst thing that happened to her few seasons ago was blond hair..

There are some musical pieces that are used over and over and over and over and... They are known as Warhorses. Carmen is probably THE quintessential Warhorse piece. Sing Sing Sing is another Warhorse.

I jokingly said that there are some pieces which aren't quite Warhorses yet, but are on their way to becoming Warhorses. Pina looks like it is heading into Warpony status. Requiem for a Dream.

Katelyn skated well for the most part. A bit hesitant, although her spins were very nice.

Really, it's all just in fun, but it does point up how unimaginative alot of even top skating is, with a real reluctance to take chances on the untried, the untested.

I wish there was more variation too, although I wonder if the judges discourage certain types of music? I want to see more movie soundtracks! Waiting for the day someone skates to Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter.

That fall was so strange I really am beginning to think the event was cursed. Eery.

And scary fall in the middle of the program. Disrupted the choreography. Too bad.

I actually thought she showed great attack at the beginning... but she lost steam towards the end. It's kind of crazy that she could land a 2A+3T with relative ease, and then a solo 3T she goes down.
