What a great competition so far. What a contrast from the Olympics.

I just opened the Pandora's box that I had been staying away from for the past two weeks so as not to get too angry - judges' scores from Sochi - to compare the scoring in the World and the Olympics.

Looking at the PCS alone makes my heart sink :scowl: **sigh**

I agree with you on that. I saw her exb. in moscow after the Olympics and she holds those position long enough and it's beautiful.
Maybe she is told by her coach not to do that in competition. I don't know...

She holds two amazing positions in her FS before her last spin. Even caps it off with the best spiral in the game today!!

Come on! What was unfair? The girl has been consistent all the season. She has built a reputation for herself and that counts in such sports as figure skating.

I think we are going to see these numbers quite frequently. It's ushering in a new era and new stars. It's good for the ISU and good for building fans. Disheartening to the long time followers. My gas prices go up and the gas isn't always better but I still get to where I'm going.

True. She does get the Russia No.1 PCS bonus, justl ike Gracie get the US no.1 PCS bonus. Both are a bit over marked. But that is not what PCS is suppose to be about but is constantly abused to game the system to put the others who deserve high PCS at huge disadvantage with all the politics.

There was no flutz there today. Her flutz is inconsistent.

There's no something like inconsistent flutz. You either flutz or not. Yulia flutzed again today just like she does EVERY time she attempts the jump.

Agree! She should have been in Yulia's area of scoring and definitely ahead of Gracie.
