Okay well I was wondering about Sotnikova's spins but that explains a lot and I think I know what spin people were talking about it might not get levels but it was nice - that is kind of the problem with IJS it isn't about the music or theme but the points in many ways. I didn't like Adelina's music but in part because obviously the video was low quality as to sound.

Love it... upbeat tempo makes good contrast with her FS. Good edit and clever choice songs of Elvis,

I am glad we are finally get an Elvis (there are more than MJ, Beatles or Sam Smiths out there you skaters!), I did hope for an Elvis program, never thought a Russian got there first before some one like Jason Brown or Gracie.

Julia is clearly a thoughtful girl, this can go down a storm in Skate America. Nice she seems to listen to feedbacks and cut down from too much gratuitous flexibility show off movements. She learned to slow down and perform to the music a bit more rather than rush through the movement onto the next, but if she can push the expression a bit more in "~walk like an angel bit", play with the crowd a bit with a big cheeky angelic smile/expression", that could be even better, then act a bit wild, rebel and rockin roll in the 'devil in disguise'. Or may be she is doing that already, we just can't see in the video.

Can't want to see her costumes now, 60s (big) hair and eye makeups now? Twiggy Julia?! Two thumbs up! Her package is looking better than last season for me.

Yep that was huge and ridiculous. On the other hand they were held down on the SD. Should've been placed third on CoC and first at Euros. They were given some and taken some.



No they were not. C&L better than them in China? No way. At Euros they were first in TES and totally sold that program.

Oh and a big thanks to all the posting of the videos - sweet. Most shocked and impressed with Julia. I wonder how she and Sotnikova will be received by the judges? I wonder if Sotnikova might be done due to injuries - I hope not. Can you imagine if Sotnikova regains her Oly glory as does Lip - Tut, Lip, Sot and don't forget Rad that means there is no room for one of them and Pog, Leonova and the newbies are like left in Siberia

Medeveda's program doesn't really do that much for me- I feel a little like she's going through the motions. I have to say I was really struck by how skinny she is now.

For some reason I don't think there is anyone better fit to have a gong rumbling away in their program than Liza. It's like a constant drama bomb is going off.

Zhenia looks strong again especially for being such a tiny wisp of a thing and now she's added the weird scrunchy half boot thing going on. I think she is just taunting people now but even though I'll be alone on this I like the way it looks. Maybe she thinks people will forget about Tano overload and look instead at her feet. Brilliant idea because her balance is amazing and it is all based in solid footwork. Do they have Russian Sosp opera's? If do I'd imagine that her music is borrowed from it. It's great but such romantic drama.
