It was my favorite SP from last season. Love her SP this season as well. But maybe I have tacky taste
I must have tacky taste right along with you because her SP last year was on of my favorites too. I watched the test skates but I don't really get a feel for the programs until I start seeing in competition. That being said, I see a lot of people don't like Elena's but it looked nice to me.

They really need to fire Elena R. music editor or whatever they are called. They did horribly with her SP music last year and now her FS music...Lord, jesus, save us

I believe her coach said in 1 interview that she was the editor since it cost too much to do it in a studio.

no. some skaters do it better than others but none are Russian.

Tukt's jumps are noticeably better than the rest of the Russian fields by a mile, but the rest of her skating leaves nothing to write about.
That program is not good.
I don't understand the critique on elena's music at all, lol. Loved both her new programs and I thought it was the best amongst all the other top russians.
Julia's LP reminds me of her olympic season sp - I'm ok with it but it's nothing special like her schindlers list or her last seasoned sp. Also I'm shocked at her SS - amongst Elena, Liza, and Adelina she definetly is the weakest in SS, sorry to say that Julia :shocked:
Liza has found her own style ^^ Go girl! Do your own thing! I like that she's like noone else but I'd expect people to rather complain about her music choices than that of elena
I only saw Adelina's sp since the LP hasn't been uploaded yet but her SS is the best amongst all the russian ladies. Still she's a hot and cold competitor and I hope that she'll not get overscored like in the olympic season. Apart from her SS she does a lot of posing, which I'm not a fan of. But maybe it'll get better when the season progresses.
Pitkeev has gained some maturity in his skating :thumbsup: I hope Nam will too ^^
I though last season that he was underscored relatively to Nam, maybe this season it'll change^^
Pogo looks stunning in her scheherezade costume. But why Scheherezade? does this music really represents what she is or what she wants to express? Just like last season she just skated through that programm and not with the music. I really think this is a big shortcoming her team has been overlooking for too long.

I agree unfortunately.
+1 on that... the pink fabric bothers me a bit, imho would look better if it was flesh coloured
but still gorgeous
