Honestly the judges wanted classic waltz this year and they've been vocal about that.
They'll just never warm-up to I/Z's SD, why they didn't change their SD is a mystery to me!

Because it was received SO well at Mordovian Ornament. Reality-check came, perhaps, too late, when it was already too risky to risk and change it. OR Elena and Co just decided to keep it because they like it

Over marking them at Mordovian Ornament was their downfall, it did them no favours at all.
I cringed when I saw their marks there, I could see what was coming.
Pride comes before a fall.
