3lz stepout :hopelessness:

thank god for the lyrics
because I dont really want to compare hers with Yuna's. That isn't fair for Liza.

But my impression is that BOrser is trying to turn her into Yuna. Talented girl from country with no skating background...

Hopefully she makes it to first place. It isn't easy skating after a glitch.

Did anyone else notice that Bradie goofed and did a double catch foot on her final spin? Besides sequinsgalore of course  I really liked it and she did a 3-2-1 combination which is actually pretty cool even though it too was a mistake. I must say that I liked her best in that group myself. Outside of the popped jump and errors she seemed the most committed to her program and had real fire. She was taking figure skating on and not just holding on to it.

I think I liked Bradie the best too. She definitely seemed the most committed.

Fall on the 2a is having long term effects. Come on Kieko!!!!:cheer:

ETA: are people ending late or is the sound delayed for the feed? Some people are ending on time and others are way off:confused:

No, skaters were ending after their music. Some were ending only a little after, but others were pretty late. Mostly ones who had more falls or a harder fall. They had trouble catching up to the music.

Is there any for Junior? I'd like to watch my long and short, but the video is quite expensive to buy....

Hello! Here is my report on Day 2 (part 1).

I missed the first group of group A. My garbage disposal broke while my dishwasher was running...and apparently the water leaked through the ceiling of the apartment below me instead of on my floor!! Sooo, I got a knock on the door from the maintenance men at my apartment complex mid-afternoon to share this delightful news with me. All is now fixed and cleaned, but I couldn't leave on time because of dealing with it. (And my neighbors will get an "I'm so very sorry!" note tomorrow on their doorstep).

But I made it in time still to see lots of pretty skating. And I got to see Kaetlyn skate today, so I was very happy about that! I really loved Kaetlyn's program, and I think it really suits her style. It looked like she enjoyed being back on the ice competing again - her smile was definitely visible where I was sitting. She skates with such speed and power, and even when she popped some jumps, she covered them really well and still got doubles around.

My other favorite in group A was Livvy Shilling. Her program is fun and well-choreographed, and she did a great job with it! Her costume is gorgeous - cobalt blue sari-inspired with a slash of purple and lots of sparkles. It was one of my favorites of the night. Miss Nashville introduced me to her mother and later on, Livvy too. Both are super nice. Her mom said that she's working on some technique changes which is why she struggled a bit on her jumps. But hey, it's July! It's not supposed to be perfect yet. And everything else looked great.

And, that's Part 1 of Day 2. I'm going to write the rest tomorrow. It's been a long day and I am very sleepy. G'nite, everyone!

Thanks for the report! Livvy was one that I commented on earlier that I really liked. Her music was so cool and interesting. The whole thing was put together quite well. That's such s bonus that being there you got to see how the costumes looked much better than us thru the feed. Thanks again!!! Are you going back for more?

thanks for the videos sunny_stars! it wasnt perfect from Elizabet but she didnt give up and nice recovery of 2A3T and seems like they are changing 2nd Sal with Loop :cheer:
because this prgram was junior program last year, adding stuff later and extra 30 secs? feels kinda awkward,i feel like it was more in sync with music last year, it was perfect at junior worlds and now magic is gone so to speak but i probably will change my mind when i watch it more  but still i wish they didnt keep this program, i love the costume btw!! i wonder how scoresheets are, i wanna know her PCS
will they skate to their FP only on Saturday?

I like Kaetlyn's FS because it looks challenging: Carmen and Cleopatra were really her thing, she didn't have any problem in relating to the music/character, while Tango requires her a new type of feeling and interpretation, which she doesn't own yet. The step sequence was especially the weakest part: the quick rhythm and fast turns looked still too intricate for her, but I see potential here!

I tend to agree; I really loved it at junior worlds, and I'm not sure how great a decision it was to keep it for this year. If anything, she should have kept the short from last year.
