H/D. It's H/D, Hubbell and Donohue. Unless you are referring to Hawayek and Baker.
Yes, typo.
^^ I am referring to Hawayek/Baker's music.
Haha, I'm not

If you are still looking for videos of the FD, search YouTube for user diodio0013plus...
I was expecting to see something really great, but instead I'm disappointed. The changes in costuming gives them a more open accessible look, Maia is very elegant as always, but the dance still does not sing to me. The new choreography still looks rough and they are not matching the intensity and tempo changes in the music. I think honestly they are bored with skating this style. They need something more modern and edgy, tongue and cheek. Their SD and gala this year are really, really cool. I hope they shake it up like that next season because I like them, even though I'm not really enthused about this FD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVlu6xVcI8c
Maia just said. "Our next goal is the 2018 Olympics." Glad to hear that.
I have never understood why Zoueva removed the one part of the program that was the absolute High Point of the dance: the original crisscrossing mirror pattern of twizzles. The Shibs could do them, and do them exceptionally well. And yet we've never seen them since the first time they performed this piece in competition. Makes no sense to me.
I think the US judges were trying to give Chock and Bates the lift they need to be podium contenders at Worlds. But I think the arena spoke for the "people". I think the Shibs are the favorite. i don't care how many times you tell me a piece of art is a master piece. If I don't like it, I'm not buying. I think the World judges may have a different opinion about C/B than the national counterparts. But the World arena had not quite embraced the Shibs this year either. But I have a good feeling for the Shibs at World and maybe their second place finish at Nationals will make them all the more embraceable.

On seeing this live, I was shocked at how much I was disappointed by the Shibs FD. Their SD was wonderful. The FD seemed dated, and without "light and shade." It also was a step slow. The audience, which preferred Shibs in the SD, gave C&B the better ovation in the FD.
If the Shibs are going to keep Strauss, I hope they ditch the current costumes and go for something like DomShabs used for their 30's OD to Lady and the Hooligan-fur trimmed Sonja Henie outdoor skating outfits. If you can't fix it, feature it. Go right past passe to retro.
