2015 US Nationals TV and Webstream Schedules

Watching the Mens competition, it got skippy around Fernandez and Vornov. I had the VPN turned off.

Still playing with settings, but I feared that was the case from what I was seeing. I wish there was some way for the software I'm using to adjust quality "on-the-fly" rather than having to select a specific bitrate and hit GO. (Can't change any settings while the stream is on.)

I'm now down to a lower quality of 0.88 Mbps. Is it watchable at this level? (Kovtun is skating so I figured I'd experiment right now.)

Kovtun was much better than Fernandez and Vornov...Hahah! The ONLY time I'll ever say that with a straight face.

Just leaving this hear for those of you who have a Mac laptop (or desktop nearby):

With Ice Network, the best way get it on your TV is via a cable (you can do it via Apple TV, but it's more expensive)

These provide pretty good instructions: http://hdmiguru.hubpages.com/hub/connect-Macbook-to-TV-HDMI

Just be aware that this may not work with older models of MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.

Hey guys, I think I got to the bottom of my internet speed issues. I was using wifi on my desktop PC -- I switched over to a direct ethernet connection, and my internet speeds are being reported over 3x as fast as before!

So, one final night of testing before NBC begins their Nationals coverage tomorrow!

I will be streaming NBC's 2014 Trophée Éric Bompard in its entirety with quality settings set to high. Please give feedback/observations on the stream quality!

GS Fans - US Nats 1 (sorry, may be a few minutes before feed is live...)

I should be around. Thanks again.

Thanks StitchMonkey!

Had to step away unexpectedly before I could get the stream going. Should be up now.

I set my location incorrectly (West Coast: San Francisco), so I'm going to change it back to East Coast during the next commercial break. Stream will cut off for a few seconds but should be back up right away.

I loaded up another stream to check on the quality myself, right around the time you said it was buffering... that might have been the reason.

I changed streaming location to "US East: New York, NY". I assume this should provide a better stream...

Happy to see that the stream (so far) is better. Also excited to learn that a direct Ethernet cable connection (instead of WiFi) provides a HUGE speed boost for me! At least I learned something out of this whole experience.

Thanks for the screenshots again!

Just a bit of advanced notice: my intention is to live-stream the NBC Preview show tomorrow (1/17) at 5pm EST. Will post a link here shortly before the start time.

For me too. --But logging off now. Got work to do and figure skating is Too Distracting.
But thank you so much for taking the time to set up a stream.

Still looking good.

And my cat seems to approve of Adam Rippon as she i watching him happily. She took one look at Javi the other day and took a nap on my lap.
