Fins are always fun too, this almost like Slavic+Karelia rap, yo: http://youtu.be/4om1rQKPijI :D

& etc

It's a Slav thing, they share a lot in common, yet have their own very unique specifics at the same time. Their choreographic taste also very similar and was largely formed on Imperial ballet which was influenced a lot by French and Italian.

I understand what you wanted to say and I agree with you. One thing we Hungarians aren't slavic nation. We lived surrounded by Slavs in Central-Europe over a 1000 years, we have many words of Slavic origin, we were impressed by Slavs, but we have preserved our very different language, culture. Your Hungarian videos are not really good, because one of those is operetta, the other is a Bulgarian song. The operetta genre is not an authentic, operetta tends to describe the lighter classical singing productions with a strong Austro-Hungarian flavor. There are French( Offenbach), Viennese operetta (Ferenc Lehár, Ferenc Kálmán, they were Hungarians) and after the Austro-Hungarian Empire clearly Hungarian (Pongrác Kacsóh, Jenő Huszka) stance.

I recommend you this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apE1n63ZhMQ an autenthic hungarian folk song by Márta Sebestyén

and a real "csárdás" (czardas) folk dance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJEV1ozLLMo

Monti Csárdás https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yD2W2gtev-E - by the 100-member Gypsy Orchestra

operetta https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ8-5Q4c8N4 - part of Csárdáskirálynő ( Queen of czardas )

I'm so impressed by these test skates. Yulia and Anna in particular. I love the music Evgenia has chosen but the choreo is a bit ??. I know it's supposed to be depicting childhood, but there are less obvious ways to do it. It comes off as too sweet and Evgenia is capable of perrforming with subtlety. Let her do it.

aren't Hungarians related to Finno-Ugric group ? that means the close language and ethnography with Finns and Ural peoples like Udmurts, Karelians, Modrvins etc.
so Elizaveta Tuk an udmurt is a close finno-urgy relations.

The JGP has never hidden judges' identities. I have often done analysis of JGP judging and have found that judges from former SSRs tend to 'prefer' the same skaters that the Russian judge does. The one exception is the Lithuanian judge Laimute Krauziene. She has always been an independent thinker.
independent thinker
I can say even americans and canadians judges gave russians high scores. Here is nothing strange or something else. Because how can you don't love these beauties

Yes, you are right. And I know Tuk is udmurt so she is my relative..;)

:) yes, we are friends!

„Polak, Wegier, dwa bratanki, i do szabli, i do szklanki, oba zuchy, oba zwawi, niech im pan bóg blogoslawi!” ;)

You know it?! I thought it's only popular saying in Poland! :ghug: Sorry for :otopic:

Who are "American friendly" judges? The US doesn't "lend" judges to other countries (Russia does), so there isn't ever going to be a case of multiple US judges on a panel.

o.O Sounds awful... Could you please show an example of this? Like, name a competition where this indeed happened?

Obviously Canadian, British, Japanese etc

thx Alexz & plushyfan for the links:luv17::luv17:

& double thumbs up to Alexz for almost all the posts. Like I usually have 90% agreement with you:agree:

& the double standart talk is my fav:laugh: Obv rus skaters only win b/c of friendly judges while others - fairly
sure!

this are the typical american lenient judges, a reciprocal to chuckms claim.

oh =D
I mean, he claimed russia actually "lends" judges to other countries, which is worse than just being lenient =)
I´m actually curious if people think that all judges from ex-ussr and all judges with remotely slavic names are automatically pro-russian :dev2:

Can we move this discussion fueled by one individual out of this thread? It is about the state of Russian ladies not about conspiracy theories that Ukrainian judges in fact are sponsored by Putin.
