Can't wait to see Elena, so much suspense waiting to see what she can produce and what the programme will be! Really excited!!!

At this point, it's all about free skate for Julia. As things have been going lately, she can score 80+ in the short and still be an underdog in LP.It seems Yulia is back, at least her SP showed great promise. And she is back to the stick figure she was in 2014.

Physically, Julia appears to be in very good shape and her 3-3 was very strong. I like the new, slight variations on her spin positions but her spin GOE was a bit up and down for some reason. However, when Anna followed you could see how much of a greater presence she is on the ice than Julia. I don't know how Julia catches her if Anna hits the jumps.
I have to agree but there was a real injury. She never lose her spins like that - https://youtu.be/va9IKlmVXEc?t=1m50Posted this on Yulia's fan forum, which probably is not the right place. I apologize.
I am tired of this "poor Yulia" nonsense. She's is an adult, it's her problem. If a skater cannot pull one five minutes performance in three years then quit! Do something else in your life.

Since yesterday, I noticed, I have been avoiding any coverage of the ladies FS. I rewatched the dances, the men, read and analyzed various all performances, all except the ladies. I noticed this Yulia's drama have started hitting the bystanders: Elena, Anna, Courtney, even Zhenya. I simply avoid everything with ladies!
So now I say to myself: one person's drama cannot affect other competitors. That's it! If Yulia cannot handle stress then don't bother your fans and quit! The sport is not for her! Tennis players play many hours brutal matches every other day. Soccer players fight like gladiators twice a week. Skiers run on the verge of death on almost vertical ice slopes every day. Pro-dancers learn new exhausting choreos in matter of days and perform every day. But if someone now cannot pull single five minutes once per three years then maybe don't bother. Go away. There are other ladies: more determined, mentally stronger.
Uhhhhh I don't understand Manitou's entire post. At all. Are they suggesting that Yulia was unable to finish her program due to a reason other than actual injury?
How tasteless. Athletes get injured. It doesn't make them less tough or admirable than any of their fellow competitors.
This totally doesn't belong here but, I couldn't find the page for the Russian Men. I just wanted to say that I loved watching Mikhail Kolyada skate at COR and that he reminds me of Ilia Kulik. Smooth and beautiful.

Why on earth are you taking it so personally? And knowing there was an injury makes this post rather silly. Plus she had already been injured earlier in the season.1. If other competitors can't handle stress coming from opponent's injury, maybe they should quit themselves? So now I say to myself: one person's drama cannot affect other competitors. That's it!
