I just went to look at updates and saw that Liam Firrus has "WD" from the voting.....so I'm not sure if that means that it'll only be between Max and Adam for the voting.
This fan voting thing doesn't seem to be working out. ....

IMO, it's not clear exactly what the "Withdrawn" notation means….Sadly, I do think that the TCC slot would not be given to Liam, even if he were to win the voting.
I am going to write to Kristi and tell her to assert her authority as Team captain to straighten this all out! (Me and Kristi go way back. I have an autographed copy of Dream Big, Little Pig.)
More than 78% of worldwide votes for Misha Ge come from Japan. Would you call that a farce?
[Showing my work for MMor anyone else:
When I looked a few min. ago, Misha had 46,114 votes total.
And he had 55% of Japan's 65,456 votes = 36,001 votes.
36,001/46,114 = 78%.]
) were abandoned due to theories, fears, suspicions and throwing shade.
I think the fan vote is a good idea, in principle, but maybe the organizers should do something to limit vote tampering. Maybe like requiring a working email address for each vote, or something...![]()
I never enter my email in such things so I wouldnt vote at all if it was requiredMaybe like requiring a working email address for each vote, or something...

Yeah, registering an account with a confirmation email would have been the bare minimum here, I think.
I took a look at the website's source code just now. Turns out you can pop-out each category and vote exclusively on those three skaters. Use your browsers private mode (Chrome incognito mode Shift+Ctrl+N) and you can vote unlimited times, takes me literally 1 second per vote.
The website only mentions 'automated voting' as being subject to deletion, so I suppose that means manual point-and-click is still within the rules, as long as an actual human being is spending their own time doing these things. Still, that's easily hundreds of votes within minutes, all manually achieved, within 3 quick mouse clicks.
But as sugarpova said, while I had tremendous fun voting and following the results, I would never register per email just to vote for this event. The point of the whole fan poll thing is to engage fans even casual ones, which is actually working out pretty well right now and wouldn't if an email registration was required.
Registering with an email address isn't that big of deal.
