2017 GP Skate Canada Pairs SP

I doubt it. I am thrilled to see them skate well here and certainly wish them a long and healthy and successful career, but sadly I think they proved that they are not to be counted on as clutch skaters when the pressure is really one. We can't use them and them alone in the team event... we just can't. Id be ok with giving them another shot at worlds... but not the Olympics.

Agreed. Even if they win nationals by a huge margin, there's no way the USFSA will send them to South Korea.

To be honest, I feel the same too... but that's not to say that if they skate absolutely clean every single time from now until and including Nationals and beating some famed pairs (such as P/J) along the way... then they could be in serious contention.

Yea, 63 with that skate... definitely S-K/K for the Olympics.

Holy cow was that Rockne Brubaker with them? I know he is their coach, but that man didn't look like him really to me??

Wow! :) Great skate by Maxime and Sydney! I'd never even heard of them, but they were quite impressive in (what I assume is) their international debut. :) They're really well-matched as a pair.

they were at nationals last year... improved a lot

russians : he looks like a nurse..a good looking one too

I really liked Natalia's FS dress from last year.

I can't give that damn vodka monster away... sheesh.

Z/E look good. Maybe they can give the Music Was My First Love Cherry Pop Kids a run for their money this season

Speak softly love is actually a nice song. Nana M sings a great version of it. *sorry..mom was a big Nana fan*

Underrotated 3S and a little 2 foot on the throw, but it was nice to see Denney/Frazier stay on their feet after so many rough skates. They seem to handle pressure on the GP better than when they're at the bigger events.

Tough mistake for Peng/Jin with the downgraded jump plus the landing error.
