100% agree. I saw where someone wrote on a blog or some such thing that his eyes were drawn to Brendan and Jason. I felt the same way, especially about Brendan. He was just flying all over the place emoting like crazy. No signs of jet lag from him. Wish I could say the same for myself. :dbana:

My friend is coming into town on Friday. When she told me she'll be getting in at noon, I had a crisis of conscience. Do I dare ask her to take public transit to my place so that I can watch the Ladies Free Skate live? (I'm in the States.) I decided I should be a good friend instead. Figured you guys would understand this feeling... :hpull:

Define "friend." Then I can properly advise you.

If this is someone with whom you might have romantic hopes for the weekend, then I'd be getting my butt to the airport.

No, Helsinki and Moscow are not in the same time zone, but we in Europe have now Summer time (one hour on), so that abolishes the one hour difference which is normally present between Helsinki and Moscow.
Russia does no more apply Summer time.

^^^Take this advice to heart. It could make or break your weekend. Set your DVR, and get yourself to the airport!!!!! It will give you something to talk about on the trip back to your place and (Through your DVR) you'll get to experience the Free Skate together......That's what friends do for each other. Trust me, it will make all the difference in your weekend. Let us know what you decide......

From what I recall, aren't Helsinki and St Petersburg on the same time?
 
To all the GSers who are lucky enough to be in Helsinki, have a wonderful time - I so wish I could be there - and thank you for the on site reports, you have been wonderful!
Any signs of the Chinese ladies, specifically Zijun? I'm concerned since the CSF kept switching her around.

No, it's just an old friend from college. I think you guys have persuaded me haha.
 
Oh thank you so much reporting. I must take enough handkerchiefs for pairs. I am so emotional person, I hope I can manage to see successful performances. I really teared after the French's FD in Euros. If they medal, I will probably cry because of joy, Aren't the men they already? Anybody at place? Has Javi got his skates? I think there are many of us curious people waiting to get to know that.

Edit, just read the fan fest he had. Great!
