2017 Worlds on-site reports

Ooops, looks like i accidentally deleted my previous post...

DR SP: Eric fell on 3Lz
IM FP: Ljubov fell on 3T, lifts gorgeous, 3ThLo slightly 2footed but otherwise throws looking good
SB looking pretty good, too

Yes. Those from 32 to 37 were their own separate group. Then there were 11 people in the next group and last 20 in the same group. Why Kostner was in that group? I do not know.

Kostner is in the 2nd group due to her low world ranking. With the time off she has a low rank

T/M should be looking to beat S/K, not promoting their good practice moments on Instagram. It's one thing at home practice and another during Worlds competition practice.

They'll just never be considered Mozer's "first" team.
I don't get your point.
it's a fan page.... not their own :scratch3:

According to the planned programm sheet Kostner is NOT going for the lutz.

How is her practice going?

The Chinese looking really strong, esp SuiHan.

JamesCipres skating and jumping really strong too, although falls on 4s attempts.

I wouldn't trust the planned program sheet. I've the feeling they just used whatever layout from the last major competition any of the skaters were in because there's plenty of stuff that has changed since then that's not reflected in those layouts.

Looking at Jackie Wong's practice reports, and I am amazed at Evgenia's ability to tack upon triples upon triples. Like holy moly.

Now ice dance at Hartwall. PapCiz just left the ice. Im no ice dance expert, but their sp swing stsq looked very look and sure footed.

There is a practice session for pairs tomorrow morning. Is it the same groups as Monday and today? Or is it the groups for the short program? Thanks

Agreed. Many don't bother to update, and Team Mishin hardly ever seems to care to - for example, they did not update Sasha Petrov's layout going into junior Worlds', including the SP which had a required 3L. (And they're not the only ones - this caused some consternation among fans wondering if some of the skaters were going for quads in the SP at junior Worlds'.) I think fans put far too much faith - and importance - on announced jump layout.

Evgenia is on. :eeking:

Back in the Cave - Evgenia Medvedeva is the only one on practice ice, a World champion show
