There I am, running 20min late to the practice due to transport issues, I see the rink, I half-run since I shouldn't run, I get inside, and there they are, merely 10m away at the time. I freaking took selfies with them and I can't believe how easy it was! They're sooooo cuuuuteee and now I feel like smacking everyone that criticizes them. Daniil and Sergey are super nice too!

Btw, in those 15min I was there, Sasha popped a quad toe, fell on one, landed one with a step-out and did a quad-triple.

Hmmm I didn't see Anna try a 4Lz. Quite a few successful 3F-3Lo though. Ksenia was there too, although it took me a bit to recognize her since I've basically only seen her at Junior RusNats. Her spins are sooooooo beautiful.

Other than that, Sasha practiced 3F-3Lo along with the 3Lz-3Lo, as a backup option I think, and Anna was doing 3Lz-3Lo as a backup too I think. They're sooooo adorable.

Russian figure skaters Alexandra Trusova and Anna Shcherbakova plan to perform a total of five quadruple jumps at the World Junior Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

Trusova intends to make 4Lz, 4T and a cascade of 4Lz+3T in a free skate program.

Shcherbakova plans to make 4Lz and 4Lz+3T.

Didn't see their runthrough, but usually they do a complete program, so probably did their spins too. However, they didn't practice the spins afterwards.

Shcherbakova never landed a quad in internationals.
Actually only Trusova succeeded in for the last 17 years.

Haha yes!! I am 160cm, and they're both a bit shorter than me. Also, they look more muscular in person, and stronger too. I will try to film today too ^_^

I bumped into Anna and her mother in a street near the main rink. I was on my way to watch pairs SP. I would say her height is the normal one that you will expect for a girl of her age. But I’m not tall either.

It makes me even more sad to think that Alena could have won this. But maybe Anna will land her first quad in international competition and win, who knows. I‘m still betting on Sasha, though.

Alena could win the gold here only if both Anna and Sasha made mistakes. Usually they tend to misphase but seldom fail both.
OK, we have that JGPF...

And yes. All of them do spins in practice. But would you publish their spins or their combos and jumps if your screen time is limited?

There is little chance some mediocre jumper but good spinner would win over good jumper with Lv2 spins. Not only the mob prefers jumps but the Board too.
