Oh, come on, don't be so mean. Just Denis is very sensitive and passion guyLook what he wrote about Zhenya at the beginning of the this year:
"Богиня с нами... Она человек. Именно за это мы и любим её" (Goddess is with us ... She is a human. That's why we love her) Read the text in the screenshot at the end of his post - what refined words he says about Zhenya's skating!
Now man's heart is brokenand his sophisticated imagination goen to the dark side.

People are differ... I‘m glad that I do know English, French, Italian, Urdu and Hindi. Even at Gwalior Olympic center Sikhs understand the difference between Zagitova and Medvedeva.
Because, it really only is sometimes. Most of the time I‘m just annoyed because google translate isn‘t all that reliable in translating news about my favourite skaters. Like, not at all. oh, sorry, I forgot to insertI don't care what he wrote 6 months ago. His blog posts are borderline schizophrenic right now.
I don't like this phrasing. I can't remember that anyone said that Kaetlyn Osmond was beaten by Alena Leonova, Joshi Helgesson, and 8 more skaters at SC 2015. She had a day off then same as Alina at the last worlds. One could have speculated that Wakaba beat Alina if she showed something above 230. But with 210? Come on. We know that clean Alina's scores are above 235. Her meltdown in Milano has nothing to do with anyone "beat" her.
I just used the same word that sugar coated used. Since for him/her that was beating. My main comment was a couple of posts above when spirals said about tough GP for Evgenia. My point was the same. When you score 225-235 and your competitors score 210-215 how exactly is a tough GP assignmets?. But yes there is always a chance of bad day. The only tough assignment could have been Kaytlen with the world title and scating at home and being clean.

AgreedSo yes, Alina will have no problems beating Wakaba, no matter what Wakaba does. .
Agreed
Zagitova, however, has the problem with consistency and mental toughness.
Yes, don't worry. It's such a great thing! No matter how awful, the judges will give her scores! It's so awesome when you're proud of travesties like that. Great stuff for the sport.
Why torture yourself? I suggest you become a fan of the sprint - everything is objective there.
Wakaba did beat Alina.

Agreed

Can't disagree more - what she did with 3Lz-3Lo during individual FP in Korea for me is the embodiment of mental toughness. Her Milano meltdown is the consequence of her illness and overall exhaustion after a very long Olympic season when she won everything including OG and beat twice unbeatable Medvedeva. Her only other meltdown was at the dawn of her junior international career.
No, I believe in Alina and, well, I believe in Medvedeva. I hope that their rivalry in the coming season will eclipse Pluschenko vs. Yagudin.
Russians can never actually be "beaten", they just might have off days that might result in other skaters being lucky![]()
I agree, though, that at Worlds, Alina was overscored.
I was talking about Worlds, specifically, not in general.
And it doesn't matter what artistry Alina has. Not the best? Doesn't matter. Her scores are so through the roof already, there is almost no room to grow. At 15, such as she was, she was apparently the perfect skater. Depressing as heck for someone like me.
For me, Russia has probably the greatest overall talent in female skating we've seen in quite a while in Kostornaya. The trouble is exactly in stuff like this. In the best case scenario, Kostornaya will draw equal to similar PCS as Alina, when right now, already, she's better. She is better than a great deal of current seniors, so I am not just talking about Alina either. But we need proper scores in order to reflect true quality which exists. It exists in Russia itself.
And 69.87 PCS for that performance at Worlds hurts skating. It hurts Russian skating too.
