I was wondering about that. I'm not sure why any of Eteri's girls are here, as they auto qualify because of the JGPF? And it would seem that their competing here knocks out other girls, like Gubanova, Vasilieva and Nugumanova. (based on the point system).

I think this is more a problem with the qualifying system than with the Eteri girls. I think there could be two easy ways to fix this.
- Just remove the already qualified girls frome the standings before daling out the points.
- Base the qualification on scores instead of placements (two best scores count and highest overall goes to nationals).
This would potentialy also solve the problem of some GP participants being automaticaly qualified while others who are doing better this season wont qualify. If just the ones who qualify for GPF and JGPF are automaticaly qualified for nationals you could let GP, JGP, CS and russian cup scores count. Fore those who do well in their GPs there wont be a difference but for those who bomb their GPs they will have to go to the russian cup to prove they deserve to go to nationals

So what they shall do between jgp and jgpf. Walking with dogs? There is the point about full scheduled national gp at feb-march and you tell about reducing competitions in the hot season

Jump height and execution is Trusova, there's no question about this one. Poise and interpretation should also be Shcherbakova. Especially her posture is significantly better than Kostornaya's. It's okay to have favorites but this sort of grading ... Makes no sense.

Hoping we'll get to see some more of Sasha Proklova tomorrow.

if you look Kostornaia actually jumps bigger and executes jump landings with good flow, Sasha wins with the jump difficulties I acknowledged that
Kostronaia's interpretation is better then Anna because its more effortless, Scherbakova wins in the over all musicality and flexibility, while Kostornaia may have a bit of lurch back sometimes when skating the rest of her lines are very good and she has superior skating skills, Scherbakova skates like a young version of Med but with a bit better skating skills.

I know many people like Scherbakova because she is charming but Kostornaia has that mysterious allure and glow even when she doesn't talk.

That in itself is a mystery. I doubt judges will see and award points for the mysterious allure and glow.

She was entered in the Cup of Russia competition that's happening right now, but she withdrew.

She also was entered in the next Cup of Russia competition happening in two weeks but withdrew from that as well.

I honestly would be surprised if she doesn't retire at this point.
