I hope that they will find a way to let Sima compete in Saransk. She is on the rise!

WHAT?
If the things being rumored are true (of course we don‘t know whether they are but from what we‘ve seen recently it does seem like there are some problems with her coaching team at te moment), she should switch to anyone as long as she doesn‘t have to coach herself on her own there... But considering the work Plushenko (and his team) have done with Sima (until she left) and also Nastya this season, I think he deserves now to be a serious option when thinking about coaches.
But I think transfer time is over already so I guess she can only change next season?
Sachanovich is now 12th on the sb list with 202. 6th of the russian skaters. Im pretty sure she secured her spot on next years GP (of course we will hae to wait and see how rusfed resolves the situation with more than 9 in the top 24...). There are obviously still a few competitions left but i dont see her being bumped down to much.
I hope they invite her to nationals despite not having qualified. She was great this weekend!
Gubanova 180, Pannenkova 173.
Yeah I'm sorry Nastyas new coaching situation is not panning out so far. But she's only been with her new coach 6 months or less and it's hard to give up on a 15 year old. In my opinion Nastya has had too many coaching changes early in her career. That is risky. So far this season maybe only Zagitova and Liza have skated well and Sofia too. maybe the rest of the Russian girls have been somewhat disappointing. They have to get better next season because Sasha Alena and Anna are coming.huge step up for Sakhanovich, disappointing Gubanova (unfortunately all CSKA ladies failed so far this season), Panenkova about the same (compared to previous years it's a mess)
Tbh I'm not yet ready to count anyone out, figure skating is so umpredictable, especially the russian ladies. I'll at least wait until after nationals to make a judgementYeah I'm sorry Nastyas new coaching situation is not panning out so far. Sima is 14th not 12th. There is already 12 Russian ladies in SB top 24, 11 age eligible for senior next season, only Kanysheva #24 that not age eligible. Leonova might get kicked out as she's currently #23. Gubanova have another chance at Golden Spin next week, and Guliakova might sneak to top 24 too since she skated well so far this season. It is really crowded in seniors since many juniors become age eligible to compete in senior/trying to move up (7 skater). Also Sotskova is high up in WS so she still can get GP even though she's out of top 24 SB.Sachanovich is now 12th on the sb list with 202. 6th of the russian skaters. Do you think she has enough money or they have to train her for free?

I asked not your opinionPlushenko gave grants...
Sakhanovich isn't qualified to nationals by her cup results, so she's not going unless she's added by coaches' council.
(in reply to Tolstoj)
Tuktamysheva mentioned in an interview that it is going to be her last season. She wants to retire.Im verry interested in how they will resolve GP spots for next season.
In the Top 24 SB:
Zagitova
Trusova
Tuktamysheva
Sherbakova
Medvedeva
Kostornaia
Sachanovich
Tarusina
Samodurova
Konstantinova
Leonova
In the top 24 WS but not top 24 SB:
Sotskova
Apart from this there are other skaters with a chance of getting on the top 24sb list if they do well in their upcoming competitions (Tarakanova, Gubanova, Guliakova).
This is 12 skaters (with potential for one or two more) guaranteed one spot (but if Iunderstand correctly skaters on these lists almost allways get 2spots) but there is only 18 spots for russian skters. If all of these get one then only 6can get 2. I dont see rusfed letting this happen. Have this situation occured before? That skaters guaranteed a spot didnt get one due to the contrys quota already being full?

Agreed.Tbh I'm not yet ready to count anyone out, figure skating is so umpredictable, especially the russian ladies. I'll at least wait until after nationals to make a judgement
