What do you mean with "performance" as bad here?Sasha:
+ jumping (quads, triples, TES everything)
- Interpretation, performance (not SS!)

She's very "performing" every single run, IMHO.
Alexandra Trusova IMO, has the worst artistic skills and should get lower pcs.

I'm thinking about her performing the 'character' of the program. Her programs this season want to show her as a tough fighter (please share your opinion if you think diffently) but... she seems to be going to the motions from element, to transitions, to element. I only see the tough fighter if I think about the difficult jump content, not in anything else. It's a cute girl punching the judges
She does however complete her elements with the most ease of the 3 girls so I can't say that she is 'performing' bad - just not exceptionally good.
The problem is don't think Sasha is a good actor atm. She CAN show a lot of personality (and does!) but idk if Daniil/Eteri want to do a 'cute tomboyish girl who is a jumping prodigy' program for her senior debut. Judges want to see a 'mature image' for the PCS rise...
Alena makes her 2A look more impressive than Sasha does her 3-3.
To have decent PCS she needs to stop "quading".
Stating she's no more able to do quads would immediately render her as "another good girl". And the Board will eventually stop to treat her as a wooden puppet with springs and motors.
I'm afraid the judges aren't ready for that TES and high PCS form the same female skater yet.
The quads are not the problem. For me, her setting up the quads gets most of the 'tough fighter' across to the audience and adds to the performance. The rest of the program? Not so much. I realisticly know Lz-Lo and cantilever are difficult and spectacular elements, but they don't look that spectacular but more like her going through the motions. Maybe it is her packaging this season and they tried something else idk.
PCS rise often follows high TES re: Rika, but Sasha has already devellopped the reputation of a non-artistic skater. In our judging system this means lower PCS, which is sad because I think her SS (&TR) are actually good.

em. no. They doesn't work like that. What exactly does Eteri do? From my understanding, Dudakov is responsible for the jumps and Daniil is responsible for the choreography. Is Eteri there to motivate the girls?

^If you're going to draw conclusions from practices, then Meds been looking like a potential Worlds champion in her practices.
Time will tell if Zagitova's technique will survive. If it doesn't, it'll be fun to watch how the willfully obtuse twist themselves trying to explain it. Or maybe they'll just sweep her under the rug the way they've done Lipniskaia.
This board literally had the EXACT same debates about Lipniskaia 3 years ago, and we all know how she turned out.
She doesn't need to stop doing quads or Loop combos, she just needs to improve her skating skills, lines and presentation.
And most of all, the team needs to time her amazing "normal" jumps more with the music to give them more effect & not treat them as the side dish when it's all about quads.
It's not that the judges deny her PCS it's that she doesn't deserve them (yet).
But what do you expect? Learning 3 different quads takes up a lot of your training time that other skaters can spend perfecting other aspects of their skating.
I just think that once she loses those quads during puberty she will have to have developed more as a skater to hold up without that point advantage.
Go back and watch her programs from last season to this season. She’s been working very hard on her presentation and especially her skating skills. She’s developing really nicely IMO. I actually think her jumps are timed up pretty well tpnthe music too. Danil seems to love that stuff.
Just compare her poise and power on the in between steps and I think you’ll get a sense for how much work she has put in. I actually rewatched them yesterday just for fun![]()
