2018-2019 GP Assignments

Have P/C committed to doing the Grand Prix circuit? I haven't seen a lot of skating pics or updates from her on social media - lots of other opportunities posted, but not skating - wonder if they will sit out GP as well?
The French fed is promoting the GP in Grenoble with them (and James/Cipres). I guess they can be ready by late November even if the start training only in July.

If South Korea is not able to host GP, I do hope it goes to Europe, preferably (selfishly for traveling purposes) Germany or Finland, although Italy that has been in talks would be nice too.

Given the organization in Milan (which wasn't horroe level like France, but way below Helsinki & Barcelona) and the kidn of scores we see in Lombardia Trophy, tbh I really really hope the GP doesn't go to Italy. I'd love it to be Helsinki or Bacelona :)

I don't think CS scores can be compared to a GP level competition, and I think the scores in Milan were mostly fine. Carolina is overscored everywhere, not just in Italy :P

Organization wise, we have a lot to learn, but then again, France has a GP sooooo

Nooo, Korea you fool!! It's a chance of a lifetime to host a GP and they would be giving Eunsoo a home GP in her first senior season on top of giving a huge opportunity to the Korean skaters!:( What was the point of putting all that money into rinks only to not use them?

If the Grand Prix event was moved to Barcelona, I wonder if Javi would un-retire from the GP circuit for one last time.

Please not Italy again. Why can't it ever be Germany??? Come to Germany, GP!!! In honor of Olympic Champions Aljona/Bruno! Make it Oberstdorf. Small but beautiful and cozy!!! I mean, what does it take? :sad46:

No, Barcelona so Javi can un-retire for a GP
(which he likely will, I mean, home crowd and all)

Germany has its own share of international competitions, though. But I agree, please not Italy again.

I have a thought: what about Belgium, with Loena and Jorik? :luv17:

I'm all for Germany, but please no Oberstdorf, it's a nightmare for traveling. :drama:

Belgium is better for me than Oberstdorf actually. And usually competitions are there, but there are arguably many other places. :) I wouldn't say no to the Netherlands either, for selfish reasons. The last time Worlds was in Germany....was in 2004 in Dortmund. It's about time.

South america please.
We never had a GP, and I suppose that maybe Chile or Argentina have a rink?

We south american fans will be happy - you spoiled north hemisphere people don't really need yet another gp just so you can complain about traveling inside europe

Milan, just to see Team Italy again :):

Kostner
Cappellini/Lanotte
Marchei/Hotarek

Okay, fair enough ;).

But are we sure now that it won't be Korea?
