I freaking hate figure skating politics - at this point with so many withdrawals it's a no brainer based on standings Eunsoo should be given a second assignment (Skate America makes perfect sense). Watch them pass her over I'm so mad

Have a little faith

I think she’ll get another spot. With the amount of spots available and likelihood of more opening up I think she’s looking good.

At this point getting mad seems premature.

I would like Eunsoo and Sima switched. It would be great if the podium at Skate Canada will be - Evgenia, Sima and Wakaba like 2015 World junior podium.

It's not possible as Russia already has 3 ladies at SC. For any Russian to pick up a spot another one has to withdraw. Same goes for Japan

I forgot. I was just getting excited, to see them at the same competition.

I have a feeling we’ll see a spot or two open up from the Russian ladies but as it stands right now today.....this is their only chance. I wish a decision would be made or if it has we’d be informed.

i don't think Skate America "needs" to replace anyone at this point... Isn't that too late? Skate Canada though should.

No, SA doesn't have to replace anyone. They did replace most of the late withdrawals last season though. The only exception being Tobias & Tkachenko, and I think Israel may have purposely delayed that withdrawal until the last minute in order to improve their odds for collecting points toward their qualification for the Olympic team event.

lets not forget Eunsoo still doesn’t have a second spot confirmed. And she should before Kailani gets one.

I wish the replacement list for substitutes was statistically handled. I can’t think of a reason why when a skater pulls out the next eligible skater on a qualification list isn’t given that spot the minute the announcement is made. Letting the federation pick and choose is very unsporting. I don’t even care about travel arrangements. USFSA and all other feds should have decent travel arrangements in place with the amount of travel they do with elite athletes and just day to day travels at the buisiness level.
