Thread for the Gala

After the very early starts the past couple of days, I need to catch up on my sleep. Plus, I haven’t seen the Senior Free Dance or Pairs FS yet.

Here is the link for the ISU livestream on the Eurovision Sports website:
https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/single-pair-skating-ice-dance/live.html?id=2419

Here is the link for the archived World Feed coverage on the British Eurosport Player (starts in 1 hour from now):

And here is the link for the archived British Eurosport 2 coverage on the Player (starts at 8m 25s. Highlights of Pairs FS at start. Eurosport News bulletin at 2h 36m 29s. Highlights of Women's Parallel Slalom at 2h 40m 11s):

Here is the Time Schedule of the Gala:

Hope this helps.

I'm always interested in who gets invited to skate at the Gala. I believe it's the senior medalists and the junior winners who get automatic invites, so the ones they added on top of that are:

Men
- Camden Pulkinen (5th Jr men)
- Michal Brezina (4th men)
- Keegan Messing (5th men)
- Sergei Voronov (6th men)
- Elladj Balde

Dance
- Lajoie/Lagha (4th Jr dance)
- Hawayek/Baker (6th dance)

Ladies
- Yelim Kim (6th Jr ladies)
- Kaori Sakamoto (4th ladies)
- Satoko Miyahara (6th ladies)

Pairs
- Della Monica/Guarise (5th pairs)

Notes: The entire men's field is performing, plus Elladj. They added one junior in everything but pairs. Sofia Samodurova is the only senior lady not performing. Looks like all the juniors have ex programs except for Alena, who is using her SP from last season. I know that both Petr and Koshiro said in the press conference that they didn't have ex programs. Stephen's was choreographed by Marie-France and Sam at Gadbois.

No it’s being a sore loser, plain and simple.
.

I get that you don't like Zagitova, you've made that loud and clear from numerous posts. But really, stop taking digs at her. I doubt she herself told Ted Barton to say that. How Eteri's team manages publicity though, may be a different story. I say "MAY BE" because we don't really know what happened. Insinuating that someone is not really injured but just being a sore loser is just :noshake:

If she's doing 3-3-3 at gala practice as reported not even 24 hours after the announcement, you can understand why people are suspicious.

I'm watching the gala while also listening to a film noir documentary and it's a weird mix.
