Kostiuk's such an impressive skater. It's actually crazy to think about how a girl at this level is a total unknown in Russia. But some parts of that step sequence are just wow.

It was my first time seeing her, and I'm... shocked?! She was so awesome. That sure was some start to this competition.

if it continues that way, I think I shal go to Russia and import some girls for our country ...

They welcome officials (some occasional medals awarded), guests (some gifts for TAT), thank the hosts, thank the feds, thank the participants. Speeches of TAT, Lakernik and host about the role of junior nats, development of figure skating in regions, on younger levels, etc..

TAT recalled how she started competing at junior nats 50 years ago: she was 1st in pairs and 8th in singles.
She loves Saransk for always warm welcome and being good hosts - she hinted they might be awarded next year's senior nats!
Big love fest in general.
