I really enjoyed that skate by Tarakanova. The camera location being from further away and from such an angle really does her skating justice.

Not really sure. Kostornaia being second despite a fall is puzzling, as is her TES being 38.62 in spite of that as well. That would essentially mean that if she hadn't fallen she would have had like 42 TES or something ridiculous like that.

How much does Junior Nationals weigh on choosing the team that'll be sent to Junior Worlds? If you are off podium here but had a stellar JGP season, can you still be sent? Or if you podium here regardless of other so-so results previously, you're likely to go?

I hope Shcherbakova won't fall too far behind the pack after the SP. I'm not sure I can agree with skaters like Panenkova and Guliakova being ahead of her. Now she really needs to skate a completely clean FS...

Well she got 41.42 in JGPF, and that is international judging. Scale it to home judging, 42 TES sounds about right.

you have to medal, It doesn't matter if you medal in JGP Final, ask Gubanova last year.
