The competition has just ended, so... YESSS ANNA! She's the first to land the 4Lz as a senior and she won her first senior competition! I'm so happy for her!

Amazing skate for Anna. Can’t believe she basically tied with Elizaveta on PCS - were the judges watching those programs?

Because the competition has ended already, I repeat: Anna's name is now on the list "quad landed internationally". 
Probably the weirdest competition I've seen so far as for the scores (in the FP Anna's PCS is 64.32 and Liza's 64.24??? Really, judges?), but with good ending after all. Congrats Anna on your first senior gold. :thumbsup:

With these judges, Liu takes 10 more points from PCS than Kostornaia ... A total disgrace these judges

WHAT A DAY FOR RUSSIAN LADIES!!!
Anya won!! A clean quad lutz!!! Not only was it a beauty, but it was her first completely clean one in international competition, and she is the first senior lady to land one in international comp! Its what she deserves!!!
A great, clean skate for Liza! Two clean triple axels at the first fs of the season? Crazy!
A landed quad combination and a win for Kamila in front of the biggest, most supportive JGP crowd I've ever seen, and a huuuuuuge score!
A second place and a beautiful season debut and huge score for Ksenia!
A clean skate for Viktoria and a Russian sweep of the JGP podium!
I am beyond impressed by the quality so early in the season.

That has nothing to do with the competition Anna just won!
Those two skaters were not even there.
I give up on this forum sometimes, the level of complaining gets ridiculous.
Anna won and rightfully so. The judging got the podium correct.

I'm hoping that with this landed quad and senior debut win, Anya's PCS will rise to what she truly deserves. The fact that she won despite the fact that she was massively underscored in PCS comparatively to Liza is amazing, considering the fact that Liza isn't skimpy on tech either. She is a fighter and the judges are going to realize it!
Change of heart. I think is good when judges are pissing off Eteri's skaters. They come even more motivated. Bravo Anna!

Honestly everyone acts as if Russian/Eteri skaters have never benefitted from dodgy judging before, but when it's the opposite the outcry seems to be so over the top.

Against all odds Anna won the first battle against Liza - they will meet again twice at GP
Anna - Liza 1-0
Also,

They really tried it.
Anna: 'not today, Satan!'
It's a sweet victory when you overcome not only your competition, but attempted manipulation and unfairness. Big congratulations to Anna!
I really hope some of these judges get pulled up for blatantly underscoring Rika and Anna to suit whatever agenda they were trying to promote. It's not ok.
