I think the drama is intensified by skating fans - listen to the way Dave Lease talks about Eteri, TAT and russian ladies - his tone intentionally suggest drama likewise some of us make this sound more dramatic than an American or Korean soap opera. Let these girls, yes, many are girls skate and live. I just hope for some good skating.

Yeah, the acting from Dave Lease is a bit excessive, he's obviously jumping on board the drama like many others do.

But what Vasily Utkin said is absolutely right:

Eteri is shutting off everyone who criticizes her, articles or interviews from former skaters "mysteriously" disappear, firing journalists, and now even Tarasova, and fans are mostly supporting Eteri, that makes so little sense.

I think despite everything, Tarasova deserves more respect. Eteri Tutberidze is successful now, Tarasova was for decades, consistently across all figure skating, not just ladies, there is still a lot she should learn from her.

Regarding Alina specifically Tarasova doesn't deserves anything. For her other achievements she already capitalized on her deserving. If she doesn't like Tutbritze, she can criticize Tutberitze as much as she likes. She can criticize Alina too. But she reached different levels regarding her.

No, she doesn't - her previous achievements, no matter how numerous, do not give her a carte blanche for anything, especially insulting skaters (and their parents - her disgusting behaviour towards Alina's father in the now infamous tv show is one example). Respect is not a title, it has to be earned every day.

Utkin is a misogynistic *bad person*.
To Tina Kandelaki he said, that his only flaw is that he’s generally disliked by old aunties (like Tina, who’s quite young).
He also I believe said that he’ll refer to some athletes as less than an empty spot.
And those are only the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to his „iconic phrases“.
His fate is similar to that of Vaits not because they are being „prosecuted for voicing their opinion“.
They got fired, because readers and viewers disliked constant insults towards athletes, and their media bosses had enough of scandals, that’s all. And neither can unfortunately accept that they acted unprofessionally, they’d prefer to imagine that evil forces are messing with their careers.

I didn't either at first but then I went on her insta and sort of facepalmed since its katya ryabova,,,,,didn't know she was in the show tho

Seems like Channel One's show "Figurnoe Katanie" has died a silent death. All the previous episodes (Shcherbakova, Medvyedeva and Trusova) are unavailable right now, and Kostornaya's never aired.

Could it be that the row that followed after Zagitova's suspension of her skating season led to this decision? Or could it concern Kostornaya's readyness (there were some unverified rumours of an injury) come the National Championships in a week?

Ryabova is AZE's representant in YOG, so why play in a show? She is Volkov's pupil though, and perhaps training for YOG can be done between show rehearsals and performances? The ice is there for skating day and night after all ...

They are (https://www.youtube.com/user/1tv/search?query=ФК.+Выпуск) found them. My Russian proxy was at fault. But Alyona's episode still hasn't aired, while she was spotted in the studio in her black dress and her IG fan group posted something. It should've been due December 15.

It will be great but I'm just sad how the careers ended for all three and when I say careers I of course mean competition. I think these three are good friends with Liza too.

I’m pretty sure Eteri took them down, with all the power that she has! There’s no other reason for things to disappear from the internet ... they probably filmed something controversial, so Eteri took care of it.

And if I were Tolstoj, I‘d sleep with one eye open! Or both eyes open.
Eteri’ll probably track the girl that’s writing things about her on GS down! Yannow, she’s so dangerous!
