so can we talk about the comp now that it's over?

What? Shame? Again what?
Guess you didn't see the ridiculous points RusFed gave to the winner in SP here. Well, Gorshkov did say that they "would try to abide by sporting principles", after all; alas - they tried, but failed![]()
Competition is over for now, and while the top skaters performed really admirably (also happy for Stanislava's redemption!), I'm a bit sad for those who didn't have the day they wanted (both Ksenia Sinitsyna and Ksenia Tsibinova, and Maria Talalaikina especially).
Seeing how exquisite Anna's short was made me so happy for her and proud of how lovely of a skater she is, and while I understand the difference between her and Alyona, I am disappointed. It seems as if it is more rewarding to learn a 3A than a quad because of the SP rules, and that just isn't fair to me - quads should be worth more, and the difference in BV doesn't compare to the loss of not being able to do it in the short. If Alyona is clean tomorrow, she will win even if Anna is clean, I fear, and I just don't know if I'd agree with that, though I love the skating of both girls (and Sasha, of course!)
Anyways, congratulations to the top 5 - those were amazing skates - and to everyone who skated clean, and may tomorrow bring redemption for those who didn't.
What?? Aliona‘s scores are ridiculous?
Aliona skated lights out, and it honestly seems like Rusfed is ready to crown her as their new queen. The gap between her and Anna and Sasha is bigger than on international events, I thought they’d try to keep the gap between them not that big.
But everyone did well.
Of course it’s also upsetting to see how one or two mistakes can drop you so much, down to 11 place instantly, the depth is insane.
Well, nationals inflation is a thing. But no one should be complaining too loudly about that in Kostornaia’s case. Internationally that goes 86. I’m actually surprised the judges utilized restraint and didn’t give her the 90.

Nugumanova - wonderful performance as always but her protocols looks like an infestation with <'s unfortunately.
Of course Aliona was overscored. But this is Nationals. And it WAS the best she’s ever skated that SP, the best she’s ever landed that 3A. So... Most ladies got PCS and GOEs through the roof. Sasha got almost 35 PCS. It was to be expected.![]()
Do you have the link with scores, and protocols.
Can't find them, i've always searched on fsrussia but that it's gone now.
