Rudkovskaya is a music producer/manager and Averbuch used the song of the artist she manages in his show so here's that. She also accused him of underpaying Evgenia. He had mentioned that average skater can earn 150-200k rubles per outing, while it was revealed that Alina got about 800k for Navka shows. Averbuch denied these accusations and said that the sums he mentioned are for average performer, not a famous skater like Medvedeva.

All show producers are trying to get the audience in all ways possible. There was actually a speculation on the future of Alina's career after Navka posted a picture of Alina and wrote that sales for 2021 shows have started. Some people thought that the post implied that Alina will be there and not at competitions while others suspected that the photo was used just for promotion.

Nothing. Just someone wrote that they paid not much to Zhenya. But it turned out to be nonsense. Rudkovskaya volunteered to pay a lot.

I agree the only possibility would be Trusova leaving, but I hope she does not. Most skaters end up with struggling after leaving Eteri. She would benefits the least by leaving. Eteri can improve her weak area, which is performance like no other coach can do. Her less than ideal placement this season is most related to too many quads in a program, which is very fixable. I can only speculate disagreement between them if any, would be how many quads she should do in a program.

I agree. I believe if one of the 3 is leaving than it is anna. her parents seem to have money and good connections- they might even consider to go oversee. anna technique is the worst of all 3. she cant stay thin like that forever. as soon as she puts some weight on, her flawed technique will fail her. at the same time she is very very musical, felxible, a very good mindset etc.

I’m pretty sure she only accused him of stealing her music, she did not say anything about underpaying Evgenia, did she? Perhaps I missed it, but I never read Rudkovskaya commenting on that.

Averbukh just reacted this way to one random article, that basically used what Averbukh said, because Averbukh’s initial interview was called “How much stars earn” or something like that, so their mistake of thinking 150k is a “star of the show” rate is kind of coming from misunderstandings, not completely out of nowhere. I might be wrong on that, I was not getting too much into it.

I’m not sure why he got that pissed though, threatening them with legal action and stuff. It’s just a random article. Perhaps it can hurt his business? But I’m not sure spectators care how much skaters earn and then there are a ton of articles much worse on russian tabloid media.

I think Trankov also kind of called out Averbukh that 150k is an overblown number too (as if Averbukh doesn’t pay 150k on average), I’m pretty sure Max threw some shade on Twitter about that.

I don't believe any of them would leave Eteri and I'm no fan of Eteri.

There are three of them, all of them have weapons and they are all performing at the highest level yet only one can win. It would be irrational to leave Eteri as Eteri does not pick who wins on the day.

Well, as a fan of Aliona i would like her to win every competition frome here to the Olympics, but Trusova is an athlete who peaks late in the season, so I still think that she is the favourite to win the world championship this year.
If she wins the word championship, it is unlikely that she will leave Eteri.
Anyway, if any of the 3A really wants to leave Eteri, she should do it at the end of this season, not in the pre-Olympic year (I do believe that Eteri basically considers Kamila Valieva her best card for the next Olympics: the right girl, the right age ...)

Hmm, well, although it is possible that someone leaves Team Tutberidze at the end of the season, I would remind everyone that there were a bunch of rumors about Aliona missing Nationals due to an injury -- which turned out to be COMPLETELY FALSE, so I would take this rumor with a huge chunk of salt...

I get it if someone leaving ... it's a lot of pression ... i think if someone is leaving wouldn't be a complete disaster ... the 3 of them ... they already have 4 or 3A on the pocket ... they will be on top no matter the coach ... leaving eteri ... they only would have one or two choices in russia or go to overseas

And also where could they go? In Russia everyone else would be considered a downgrade. Abroad, Orser has Evgenia, Hamada has You and Rika, the only one left who could provide the same level and reputation is maybe Raf...

And also, there's only 2 years left until Beijing, that's not even that much time for a full lifestyle and training style change...

I think the biggest factor into whether or not Sasha leaves Team Eteri isn't even Eteri herself. Her team consist of 3 main coaches, and Sasha seems the closest to Dudakov. You can see their interactions when the cameras are on them in competition. And this makes sense because Dudakov taught Sasha all her quads; he's the jump coach and Sasha's favourite elements are jumps. Who knows if anyone will be leaving, there are always rumours, some true, others false. But I bet Sasha has a very strong connection to Sergei; she was the first to land many quads and has all quads ratified except the loop, which is something very few have achieved in any discipline, thanks to Sergei.

Then from the financial side of things, since they're all in the first senior season, I don't think they have enough sponsorship to afford an elite international coach. Unlike other nations where there is only one skating star, RusFed will not pay for that. AFAIK, the only 3A who comes from a well off background is Anna.

As far as I can tell, there is generally no special information on this subject from reliable sources. Everything is as usual. The only thing that was reported that this year there will be no general gathering of the national team before the Euro. All participants are trained at their rinks.

What do you think the biggest factor into whether or not Kihira leaves Hamada, Tuktamysheva leaves Mishin, and Chen leaves Arutyunian?

I think Sasha is not that much below other Aces, yet still well above other Russian skaters, so she herself isn't in position to look for another coach.
Hardly anyone will magically give her two things she lacks: the stability in jumps and overall beauty of skating (This is what stated as soon as I myself see her skating very beautifully).

And stability of jumps is the thing everyone wants and everyone fails to deliver from time to time.
