And it never is. To go back over the years and see what lesser skaters have higher PCS is the nastya it's just galling and appalling. And it never changes.Yes, I think that Gubanova skates with emotion and musicality and interprets the music very well. Guliakova on the other hand has perhaps more power, but is a bit stiff. She is not the most gracious skater out there and Swan Lake is definitely not the music for her. The difference in PCS should be reflected accordingly but it was not.
Gubanova has 2 choices:
either stop thinking herself as an unjustly bullied diamond, stop being angry at everyone around, lose some weight and lock herself up at the rink in a bid to use at least, some of the opportunities and talents she definitely had and has.
or continue being angry at everyone around, blaming fans, judges, coaches, federation... probably also aliens for her wasted talent, remembering how easily she beat Alina Zagitova in novices and juniors, thinking she is no worse than World champions and Olympic medalists and etc while competing for Cup of Russia.
For sake of her career I would like to recommend the former, but she and her fans seem to be very happy with the later.
It's only her fault that is takes her a mile to prepare for a barely rotated triples. As much as I dislike Buianova, Gubanova so far has done everything to prove that she was right to expel her from the team.
She would have two choices if the Federation was behind her but they have proven over the years they are not. So reality says she has zero choices. And Nastya skated pretty well for Buyanova. In fact it was better than any female of Butcher Buyanovas since Sotnikova in 2014. Somehow Nastya survived that coach. Masha Elena and Polina were not so lucky.
How do you know she's angry at everyone around her and how do you know she doesn't work hard? We rarely hear from her so it's hard to know what she really thinks. Edwin posted a video of her yesterday along with the other two medalist and of course nastya had no audio on hers so nobody knew it was she was saying. Lol.
She was not expelled from her previous Club. She brought flowers to her former coach and they had a nice parting of the ways and then the coach stabbed her in the back a couple months after that with the story about expulsion. Do you really think she would have brought her coach flowers if she was expelled? And who would bring flowers or candy to a coach or boss for being fired which is essentially what the former coach was saying about Nastya? The answer is no one would bring their boss or coach flowers or candy after basically being fired.
And who is in good shape figure skating wise in June? The answer is no one.
Since you have so much information that most of us are not privy to what's the situation with Daria Panenkova? Is she still skating?
