Maybe I can help with one, here is a comment from a Russian skating official - the President of the Russian Skating federation himself:
I believe more in this situation (producer) Ari Sakarian, who is sure that she does not train, but ended up in Japan, because she wanted to perform in the show where she was invited.

Believing is not equal to knowing, Mr Piseyev. As a board member of FFKKR you should have a vested interest in the whereabouts, health and condition of one of your star athletes, even when she is a legal adult, because receiving a hefty stipend means carrying responsibility. Especially when the team rosters are being drafted and new season is about to commence.
One can assume FFKKR, TAT et al will want to restore conditions to normal as soon when government orders are lifted. Russia's Ministry of Sports is already at work on starting the reopening of any and all sports.
Arrange camp in Novogorsk, Sochi, Siberia, where ever quality ice and living can be found and athletes, trainers and support staff kept safe and secure. With the official FFKKR doctor still fighting the good fight on behalf of the elderly war veterans in the hospital he has been assigned to, the medical examinations and health checks will have to be postponed and the athletes allowed to train on their current license and insurance, I'd think.
Does Zakaryan have a hand in all this, he is the agent to most, if not all skaters, and produces some Japanese shows after all? He is the only possible intermediary until proven otherwise.
It doesn't seem like Piseyev had any contact with Medvyedeva since. If she was giving permission to leave on this business trip, there would hardly be a reason to put a tag on her.
Doesn’t invoking what TAT said goes against the very spirit of the wrath people are giving Zhenya because what they accuse her of doing? TAT is wanting the Russian skaters to have a rink to to train in, in the middle of a pandemic, because she claims Zhenya is training with the Japanese skaters.
If one is outraged that allegedly, Zhenya is training in some rink in Japan during a pandemic, isn’t it equally outrageous that Russian skaters should be training during the same pandemic?
I believe all the uproar isn't about Medvyedeva trying to find ice time. She isn't in Russia and doesn't have to 'suffer under self-isolation' like the Russian athletes in Moscow, Sankt Peterburg and elsewhere where a strict stay at home order is maintained. There could be a component of jealousy in some anti-fans, but having an extra couple of hours of ice time is hardly relevant when nobody is sure about any season taking place anytime soon.
It is about Medvyedeva's not so smart reactions to concerned Japanese fans, and as usual with social media, it quickly escalated in a full out fight between multiple factions a single person can never stop, let alone win.

Piseyev also let shine through that Tuktamysheva, Medvyedeva and Zagitova most likely will still be on the team.
“ The executive committee should take stock of the season, discuss plans for the future in connection with the spread of coronavirus, asses the calendar (as much as possible), and also approve the composition of the Russian team, which has already been formed, but should be considered by the executive committee members. There will be no surprises: Zagitova, Medvyedeva, Tuktamysheva, will be included of course, there are also young girls who have established themselves, ” Piseyev told over the phone.
" Imagine, how can you not include Zagitova? She is one of our strongest skaters, especially when speaking about the future, we need to remember that the rules of our sport can change soon. There are a lot of ambiguities in our world, so there’s no need to disturb athletes "
