Her old coach works at Plushenko's rink. People assume she might want to work with him again

Didn’t her old coach call her “wooden” (not in a good way) among other non flattering things? O_o it’s the choice that just surprises me.
There are other very good coaches in Russia, but I personally wouldn’t put Plushenko’s team among one of them.

Rusfed is always the last one to know.
Dear lord, how could this happen.

If that news is true, there is only one logical reason which explains it: Plushenko sent a bag full of Money to whoever made that decision.

I can get Sasha leaving Eteri, but not to Plushenko, especially considering that sasha's family has (had?) not exactly great relationship with the real coach there.

Well I guess it kind of would make sense because Sasha's old coach works here and obviously she is disappointed after this season. The news aren't confirmed, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. I just hoped that she could pick a more established coach. If not foreign then at least Mishin or Davydov.

At least now we won't be trying to find out what Evgenia is doing in Japan every minute or how Alina deals with her taxes.

I hope Sasha is prepared for the backlash of fans. What a brave little girl she is!

I doubt there are many bigger EteriFans here than me and I have nothing against it(assuming she doesn't start talking like some girl how she escaped from the prison).

p.s reading Russia comments there are 2 types of comments: haters of Khrustalny awaiting Khurstalny fans attacking Sasha and other people saying it's bad decision for her career, nobody it attacking her yet.

I think most of the transfer cases happen after some severe disappointments, but didn't they post that 5-quad clean run-through of hers, indicating there's been no concern regarding her jumping abilities?
If the rumours are true, there must have been some serious luring going on from Plushenko's camp. Like him or not, right after winning Russian novice championships with Titova, he threw down another gauntlet before Eteri's feet! :dev3:

That’s what I thought! Sasha could do her uber-complex routines there and she just learned her 3A this season, doesn’t look like a “neglected” athlete to me. Perhaps there’s more to it, what we will learn later on, but right now is looks like a career suicide to me.
Tarakanova, Sakhanovich did not do well under Plushenko and were quite vocal about it.
Sasha is such a talented kid, if she feels like it, it’s her decision, I just pray that Plushenko helps her to achieve all her goals.

She has a rare talent, a fierce determination, and something must not have been right for her under Eteri’s coaching. Good luck to this little firecracker.
